It's how many of us get started on this oily journey. It's how we get lots of oils and a quality diffuser at a good price. Young Living calls the oils you get in this kit, "everyday oils". It's fabulous. At first it was interesting to me that someone could know what all these oils are used for, more less be able to use them everyday. My oily journey started slow. I was a skeptic. I didn't know how to use the oils. I forgot I had oils many days. And then...I brought my son home from the NICU and within a week he had caught my daughters cold. I was devastated. A little baby who can't breathe through his nose is enough to tear his mom's heart up in pieces. I'd do anything to prevent this from happening again. That's when it hit me. I had the key to wellness at my fingertips. I had the prevention tools. I had the resources to make sure my family could be as healthy as we could. I had oils. And I began to use them consistently on my kids. I knew what all the "everyday" oils were for, and I used them, everyday. In my opinion, the results I received regarding the wellness of my kids were incredible. I never looked back. I've used them over and over and over, bottle after bottle and I am no longer afraid to attend that kids birthday party and let my kids play in the ball pit. I am not afraid they grabbed the wrong cup off the table and are now drinking the booger kids drink (although I do try to stop that before they actually take a drink. :) ) Oils have given me more in return than I ever thought possible. I will have to do a blog post on myself one of these days, as I use them for so many things for me. Anyway, check out the oils that come in the current kit, what they are used for, and what they look like. And order your kit! Send me a message when you're ready.

Zebra Stripes
Welcome to the Keeping It Oily Blog! This is where I will try to keep the topics related to Essential Oils while trying to be compliant with the ever so difficult FDA. It'll be fun. If you are here, you most likely use essential oils, are interested in using essential oils or just accidentally got here and saw the zebra stripes and were instantly hooked. As a first blog post should go, I spent more time finding a background to make my blog look cool. I knew I'd be talking about essential oils, so I wanted something like a lavender field or something very peaceful and calming. Nothing looked right until...I found the zebra stripes! Just recently I had a friend diagnosed with Neuroendocrine cancer. He is currently undergoing treatment at Mayo Clinic and doing well. Since his diagnosis, we have all gotten too familiar with neuroendocrine cancer and tumors. Just like breast cancer has a pink awareness campaign, neuroendocrine cancer awareness has zebra stripes! I thought it was perfect. #NETawareness
Anyway, check back tomorrow as I'll be talking about the Premium Starter Kit and why it kicks ass.
Until then, Keep it Oily. I am about to apply some frankincense for this fuzzy head.
